Remote control application for KidLogger PRO

We have released a new remote control application for KidLogger PRO for Android. This app is specifically designed for parents who have installed KidLogger PRO on their child's device, allowing them to monitor activity in real time.

The main interface provides access to several monitoring commands:

First, you must configure the application to establish a secure connection with your child's phone. Tap the Configuration button and enter the child's name, phone number, device ID, and your own phone number. Ensure both devices can send and receive SMS messages. This version supports monitoring multiple devices.

Tap Test connection to verify the link. If KidLogger PRO (version 1.6.112 or newer) is active on the target device, the connection will be established successfully.

  • "What's going on" command: Informs you which application is currently active on the target phone.
  • Get Coordinates: Provides the current GPS location of the device. Location services must be enabled on the target phone. Clicking the link in the notification box will show the location in Google Maps. Note: If the phone is in sleep mode, use the "Call Back Now" command first (without answering) to wake it up.
  • Call Back Now: The target phone will automatically call your number, allowing you to listen to the surroundings. Important: This works only when the target phone is idle. You must perform the "Callback Setup" on the target phone first to select the default Phone app.
  • Start sound recording: KidLogger PRO will begin recording ambient sound and upload it once an Internet connection is available.
  • Take a screenshot: Triggers a remote screenshot, which is uploaded to the server as soon as the device is online.
  • Get configuration from server: Instantly applies any setting changes made on your web dashboard to the target device.

Important Information:
1. Sending commands incurs costs (one command = one SMS) based on your mobile carrier's tariff.
2. For enhanced confidentiality, these SMS commands are not saved in the phone's message history.
3. It is not recommended to have both KidLogger PRO and the Remote Control app installed on the parent's phone simultaneously.

Troubleshooting:

No connection established

Correct configuration is vital for the remote control to function:
1. Do not install the standard KidLogger app on your (parental) phone; use only the Remote Control app.
2. Ensure the target phone has the latest version of KidLogger PRO installed.
3. The KidLogger PRO app on the target phone must be connected to your KidLogger.net account.
4. Both phones must have active SMS capabilities.
5. SMS permissions must be granted to both the Remote Control app (parent) and KidLogger PRO (child).
6. Re-check the Configuration settings: Verify both phone numbers (try with and without the international prefix) and the Device ID, which is found in your web dashboard. Tap "Test Connection" again after verifying.
